Paul's biography

Paul Packman is President of Packman Architects, Inc., bringing decades of experience in residential and commercial architecture to clients throughout Middle Tennessee and beyond. A graduate of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Architecture, Paul is NCARB certified and holds active architectural licenses in Tennessee, California, Oregon, and Utah.

Paul founded Packman Architects around a concierge approach to architecture—providing each client with direct access, personal attention, and experienced guidance throughout the entire process. From the first conversation through design, permitting, consultant coordination, and construction, he remains closely involved, helping clients navigate complex decisions while keeping their vision, priorities, and budget at the center of the project.

His diverse portfolio includes commercial tenant improvements, restaurants and custom homes. This breadth of experience allows Paul to address projects of varying sizes and complexity with a balance of creativity, technical expertise, practical problem-solving, and careful attention to detail.

Before founding Packman Architects in 2019, Paul served as a senior architect with Biglin Architectural Group, Kingdom Industry, Design Blue and The Warwick Group (formerly The System Design).

Paul has been married for 30 years and is the father of four.
